The holiday season is just around the corner and gaming companies are using this fact to their advantage. Take Sony, for instance, who is launching the new PlayStation 4 Pro this November after the release of the Playstation Virtual Reality headset last month.

The PlayStation 4 Pro will be Sony's latest home console that promises to deliver more definitive visuals and sharper, faster frame rates than ever before. It won't alienate PS4 games as it will continue to support them on the new platform, plus the addition of 4K capability makes it all the more worthy of the clamor, as per Sony Playstation's official website.

To add to the excitement, speculations arise regarding the delay of the 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' launch. Teasers and previews for the game have been released as early as the fourth quarter of 2015, yet no news on when it goes gold has been found. The advent of the PlayStation 4 Pro had fans coming up with the idea of the possibility the renowned role-playing game may be making its way to this platform. Neither Sony nor Square Enix has made comments on this, adding to the suspense, Game N' Guide reports.

In other news, 'The Last Of Us Remastered' may be giving us a few glimpses of how gorgeous it would appear on the new console. The latest patch 1.7 for the game added support for PS4 Pro and HDR features. VG 24/7 presented screenshots of how the game would look like with HDR, which makes fans all the more exhilarated and thrilled to see how it would fit in Sony's latest 4K console.

Not everyone is raving about PS4 Pro's release, though. Strategy Analytics analyst and industry expert Michael Goodman thinks it is a huge mistake to officially make the PS4 Pro available on a time so close to the PS Virtual Reality launch. He mentioned this move carries the danger of dividing revenue on the two products as it would "split consumer dollar."

Nevertheless, Sony appears to push through with Nov. 10 as the PlayStation 4 Pro's release date.
