The internet is indeed dark and full of rumors. One of which was the horrific speculation that the show featuring our favorite Bald hero Saitama will be discontinued.

The rumors about "One Punch Man" Season 2 being canceled started as the year neared its end, many fans were hoping for the release of the much-anticipated second season of the anime series but were utterly disappointed. Nonetheless, the hype and longing for "One Punch Man" Season 2 did not waver despite all the cancellation rumors and delays that plagued the fans.

The animation studio behind the hit anime series kept their fans waiting for a good eight months before finally gracing them with the second season's confirmation. Last September 25, MadHouse confirmed "One Punch Man" Season two via a Twitter post, however, there were no details or storylines shared.

The second season of the hit series might just feature Saitama getting himself a different kind of knockout- two even. There are some speculations that the storyline for Season 2 will have our hero caught in a love triangle between two fellow heroes; the heroic sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki. Just who are these two lady crime fighters? If we take a trip back to season 1, Tatsumaki is the older of the two sisters and is an S-class rank 2 hero with a budding superiority complex. While Fubuki, an A-class superhero, is the total opposite of her sister, she is rather comfortable living under Tatsumaki's dominating shadow. It would be very interesting to see Saitama solve this kind of dilemma.

Moreover, several reports suggest that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be staying true to their source material from MangaONE. That being said, it is likely that our bald champion will be getting more appreciation for his heroic deeds in the upcoming season. Needless to say, our dear Saitama is very much deserving of the delayed heroic recognition.

As for the what story arc the second season of "One Punch Man" will tackle is yet to be announced, but if we consider the rumors that imply the season will take from Murata's version, it may just happen that one of the arcs will include Saitama's battle against the Monster Association. Another interesting possibility to look forward to this upcoming season is the encounter between Saitama and Garou, the first monster to be on par with our bald hero in terms of strength and stamina.

The release date of "One Punch Man" Season 2 is yet to be announced, however, it is very unlikely for the show to make it in time before 2016 ends.
