Recently, Underworld Blood Wars Teaser was released featuring minutes of key flashbacks of the previous movie, and the most interesting Kate Beckinsale's Selene character transformation. In the video, she was initially seen sporting a jet black hair then on the latter part of the trailer her looks drastically changed, critics were taking the physical change as a suggestion of her immortal transformation.

The fantasy movie started with the story of the star-crossed lovers, Beckinsale's vampire Selene and Michael Sheen's lycan Lucan. In the progress of the story plot, they faced several difficulties, they were hunted not only them but their daughter Eve, played by India Eisley.

According to Variety, the blood of Selene and her daughter Eve are vital, they hold the key to immortality which will lead anyone with it to the war's victory. Hence the title of the film, Underworld Blood Wars. Many will seek ways to get hold of either one of them, and Selene should make the biggest sacrifice for her loved-ones.

Interestingly, the latest trailer also leads the viewers to the same line of thought. In the teaser again, it showed that the vampire's new ally, David went with her to lie low where she went into hibernation. Later she emerged as the blonder Beckinsale Selene, the blood coursing through her made her more powerful than ever.

IBT reports, that Selene can be the new head of the coven, she will be leading the her people while struggling with her current transformation. The recently claimed head will be taking down Merlin's Bradley James, the bad guy in the movie.

Underworld: Blood Wars is set to the big screen on January 6 2017, in all US Cinemas. In addition, it is directed by Anna Forester and written by Cory Goodman.
