US Election 2016: Clinton In Big Trouble After Dropping Below 270 Votes

The latest update in the 2016 US election map shows Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton dropping below the prescribed 270 votes to secure her presidency. In the most recent projection, Clinton only reached as close to 268 electoral votes - not closer enough to reach their target.
In essence, the US election might still have the slightest chance to swing in favor of the Republican side. The race is indeed tightening with just four more days remaining before the new US president gets officially elected.
In a report stated by The Hill, there are only six remaining states considered to be a battleground. These are North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Arizona, Florida and the 2nd congressional district in and around of Omaha (Nebraska). Furthermore, a much more favorable prognosis is expected for the Republican Party in the new forecast for Ohio, Utah, and Maine's 2nd congressional district.
According to CNN Politics, there is a total of 204 electoral votes supporting Donald Trump. There are precisely 21 US states that consider themselves as solid GOP patrons. There are also 5 states that lean closely towards the Republican side.
Only six remaining states will determine the future of the country. But falling short of the target electoral count is just one of the many worries that plague Hillary Clinton. Even after the election, she may have to face the music in dealing with the leaked emails of her campaign manager John Podesta - a very controversial issue that even put incumbent president Barack Obama in a bad limelight.
In six days, United States will have a new head of state. Even then, the whole country watches and patiently waits for democracy to do its job. Hillary Clinton still practically leads the US election race. However, the six remaining states will determine her fragile destiny and lots of things will be revealed soon.
