The competition on which company got the best secretary is still on the verge of fire after the recent improvements to Apple's "Siri" and the Amazon Echo. To join the battle of the best technology, Sony Xperia recently released an enhanced version of "Siri," the Sony Xperia Agent.
Cute and adorable as it seems, the Sony Xperia Agent is on its way to knock down the two other virtual secretaries that are currently installed in millions of devices all over the world. Sony Xperia Agent is the new smart-home Butler who actually can brew you a coffee as a person went home from the office.
It was during the annual IFA hosted by the Consumer Electronics Unlimited in Berlin when Sony decided to reveal to the public their new technology. During that time, around the month of September, Sony Xperia Agent is still an idea to be developed, not yet ready for release.
Sony marketed the Xperia Agent by connecting it with a Nestle Coffee Maker, the same way that the Amazon Echo can control electronic appliances at home. Just by saying a word describing the coffee that you want to have, Sony Xperia Agent will then brew coffee on your behalf.
With its feature allowing people to communicate and to keep each other updated, Sony Xperia Agent seems to be the new member of the family with smart-homes. By smart homes, it means that almost all things and appliances inside your house are connected to each other and that one can just snap to make things work.
The new Artificial Intelligence device is still in the process of development. From making a good cup of coffee, Sony thinks to make it more smart-home friendly by making it workable with any other appliances and devices at home.
Sony Xperia Agent comes with a robotic looking device and a Xperia projector to work as an enhanced virtual assistants and butlers at home. Sony is also known to produce gaming consoles such as Playstation 4 where "Elder Scrolls," "Kingdom Hearts," and "Overwatch" can be played, Jobs & Hire reported.
