Rumors have spread all over the internet that another cast member will be joining the American horror drama TV series, "The Walking Dead". The Golden Globe nominee and self-confessed "The Walking Dead" vivid fan, Maria Bello was hinted that she might be joining the horror TV series on the upcoming season.

On a recent interview, the 49-year old star, Maria Bello revealed that she will be joining the cast of the upcoming season of record-smashing zombie drama next year. According to the released news, Bello asked her friend to cast her in the next season of the said TV series. "I have a friend who's a producer on it and I've asked them to write me a part, which apparently they are for next season", she added.

As reportedly, Maria admitted that she's a great fan of "The Walking Dead". On the other hand, there were speculations that Maria would be one of the villains of the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead." According to Screen Crush, Maria might be taken the role of Alpha, a notorious character as Negan.

Then again, the cast member who would retain their role in the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" were Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Sonequa Mattin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

As recently reported by Digital Spy, the filming of "The Walking Dead" season 8 would possibly start from May to November 2017. It was announced that the franchise of the said horror TV series has eight more episodes. There's no specific release date of "The Walking Dead" season 8, but it was speculated that the upcoming season would have its premier by October 2017.
