According to the latest news, while Google is bombarded with Pixel and Pixel XL 4G LTE-related issues, the company hasn't offered any official resolution and any reason for it. Some user speculations are formed that it's band carrier, chipset, and IMEI number related.
In the past few days, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL phone owners in certain countries reported difficulties in connecting to the web, these are those who use Band 4 carriers to receive LTE signal. The root of the problem is still unclear as US Pixel brands haven't received any of the same reports.
According to iTech Post, "Google hasn't really provided a solid solution to the Pixels' connection problem." The owners are still in the dark how to address the Google Pixel phones LTE-related issues yet rumors are they are trying to do something themselves for it.
While GSM Arena reported that, in some cases Google allowed the Pixel users to swap their phones. Yet, it is not proven to be a solid solution to the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL issues and whether it's an isolated case.
Google has noted their LTE-connection issue, though no recent news is out whether they are doing something about it. Since that's the case, Google Pixel affected users are speculating their own theories.
Some of the speculation are band carrier, chipset, and IMEI number related. An example of which, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL owners are registering their sim cards to another IMEI number trying to see if its the problem. Another, the rumor on Qualcomm chipset compatibility which they think can be resolved with an upgrade.
Hopefully, Google can follow up with the Google Pixel Smartphones LTE-related issues in few weeks. If you're experiencing the same difficulties, stay tuned for our updates regarding Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL LTE resolution.
