Nintendo recently announced the release date of the much-anticipated mobile game "Super Mario Run." Though the game will offer a free mode for a little taste, fans should expect to cough up a bit of cash to get the full "Super Mario Run" experience as Nintendo has released an official price for the game.

According to Nintendo Insider, Super Mario Run will get its release on the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch on December15. So for those looking to get a small early Christmas present for themselves, then they should definitely take a peek at "Super Mario Run."

"Super Mario Run" has a gameplay similar to mobile running games like "Temple Run" where the big difference is Mario can only run to the right of the screen. According to IGN, the only control that the player has is to tap to jump and hold if the gamer wants Mario to jump higher. The character will run at a set pace and will encounter numerous and familiar mushroom kingdom obstacles.

The game would also give players two other modes. The first is Kingdom Builder where gamers can build and decorate their own kingdoms. The other is Toad Rally where the player can engage in ghost runs with another player around the world. The app will cost $9.99 if gamers want to unlock unlimited access to every mode the game has to offer.

Nintendo has been on a big run lately with a lot of exciting announcements. Especially with the Switch system which according to Jobs and Hire will have a lot of exciting things going for it. Seems like the company is on a good roll after disappointing sales figure of the WiiU. "Super Mario Run" is the giant gaming company's latest foray into the mobile gaming sphere after the smash hit "Pokemon Go" collaboration with Niantic.
