Niantic will be dishing out a load of gifts in the upcoming "Pokemon Go" December update including something fans have been wanting for a long time. Reports suggest that there will be dozens of new Pokemon added while "Pokemon Gen 2" has been confirmed as well. 

The "Pokemon Go" December update is definitely something to look forward to this holiday season because Niantic will be introducing 100 new Pokemon next month! According to News Everyday, another thing to be happy about is the confirmation of "Pokemon Gen 2." As per the report, the upcoming update will include possibly more than 100 new Pokemon, ranging from normal to legendary creatures.

Niantic has been focusing on attracting old "Pokemon Go" players, enticing them to return to the game they once turned their back on. Thus, the developer is unleashing an update that will give these players a reason to rejoin the hype. New monsters to find, capture and evolve. 

In addition to the whopping amount of incoming creatures this "Pokemon Go" December update, it is also worth mentioning that the upcoming patch will dole out something way better that the previous Halloween event Niantic held. The latter obviously rendered great results for the developer as they regained the app charts' top spot as per Game N Guide.

The same report also suggests that the "Pokemon Go" December event will be held from December 11 to December 25. The said event will grace players with new bonuses and a cute Santa Claus Hat plus gifts. Moreover, more ice-type Pokemon will spawn during the December event including Jynx, Seel, Dewdong, Shellder, Cloyster, Lapras, Ponyta, and Rapidash. 

"Pokemon Go" is definitely encouraging the spirit of sharing this holiday season because reports claim that the update will include something players have wished for since the start. The "Pokemon Go" December Update is rumored to surprise players with the much-awaited Trading Feature. If rumors stay true, Niantic will be teaching players the spirit of sharing while fulfilling their ultimate wish for the game.
