'Little Witch Academia' TV Series News & Updates: Airs Magically On January!

The Little Witch Academia continues the magically-crazy adventures of the apprentice witches Akko, Lotte, and Sucy who studies at Luna Nova Magical Academy. The series will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX, BS11, and KTV starting on January 8, 2017. Netflix licensed the Little Witch Academia for broadcasting has been announced.

According to Crunchyroll, a new key visual and a preview video for the "Little Witch Academia" have also been announced. The opening theme goes by title of "Shiny Ray" and will be performed by YURIKA, as for its ending theme with the title of "If You Follow the Stars" performed by Yuiko Ohara.

Studio Trigger's anime project the "Little Witch Academia" will be directed by Yoh Yoshinari, early announcements have been made by Studio Trigger's President Masahiko Otsuka. Stating that the TV series will be running in 30 minutes, Masahiko Otsuka said that the staff has been rushing into its production at the studio.

The Little Witch Academia TV series project might have also started the anime titled "Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade." The manga version for the Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade was released on July 3, 2015 which has a runtime of 53 minutes according to WIKIPEDIA. Further information from ANIME NEWS NETWORK about the "Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade" was reported to have 4,000 fans excited enough to even make a standing ovation for its world premiere on its Anime Expo.

The fans funded a campaign raising $150,000 in six hours, and have reached to almost $626,000 which is four times of expected goal within one month.
