'Pacific Rim: Maelstrom' Characters Revealed; Sequel All Set For March 2018?

The war between robots and humans will not just be shown in HBO's "Westworld" because the next installment of "Pacific Rim" will return early in 2018. This will then break the world that has been set by "Game of Thrones" when it comes to entertainment shows. 

'Kaijus' are back, and humans have to deal with them to avoid further destruction; this is the reason why Guillermo der Toro and Travis Becham's masterpieces has been granted with another installment. "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom" is expected to be released in cinemas in March 2018-exactly five years after the publication of the first movie. 

With the production has been mostly done, the casts of the upcoming sequel "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom" has already released the list of their new casts, as reported by the Anime News Network. Included are actors and actresses from America, Korea, and China, respectively. 

Some of the main characters will be played by "The Get Down" star Shyrley Rodriguez, "The Grandmaster" actor Zhang Jin, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" cast John Boyega, "Suicide Squad's" Scott Eastwood, and "The Great Wall" actress Jing Tian. Alongside them are Cailee Spaeny, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Chen Zitong, Lang Yingying, Xiao Yang, Kim Jeong-Hoon, and Qian Yongchen.

"Pacific Rim: Maelstrom" will be directed by the famous Netflix series "Daredevil," Steven S. DeKnight. One of the people who is working on the second installment of the "Pacific Rim" is the Derek Connolly, the script writer of "Jurassic World."

The wait for the "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom" will not be too long since next year, the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be released, along with the "Ghostbusters" and "Triplets," as reported by Jobs & Hire. With the release of the list of casts to play the roles in "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom," fans are expecting that the production team has already done shooting for the film.
