Jimmy Kimmel Confirmed To Host Oscars On 2017!

The TV show host Jimmy Kimmel who has been recognized by his comedic hosting and for having hosted several award giving shows, aside from that he is also a producer, writer, and a voice actor. Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has been a big hit internationally.

The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" was first released on January 26, 2003 and is still airing until now.  Having Kimmel as the iconic comedian who has pleased many viewers all around the world, the late-night talk show has been one of the most tackled TV show up to date. The TV show started more or less like a common day to day talk-variety show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

According to BBC Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the 2017 Oscars and it has been announced. Kimmel confirmed the announcement on a Twitter post stating "Yes, I am hosting the Oscars. This is not a prank.  And if it is, my revenge on @TheAcademy will be terrible & sweet." Along with a report stating that this will be the first time the famous comedian Kimmel will be hosting the Oscars that will take place on February 26, 2017.

Ben Sherwood Chief of Disney/ABC Television Group gave Jimmy Kimmel a huge endorsement for hosting the upcoming Oscars lately in September as reported by Variety. Further statements from Ben Sherwood about Kimmel stating that they thought Kimmel elevated the Emmy's. This took place during a Q&A portion at the Paley Center, concluding with they thought Kimmel has earned it they are hoping that he gets the Oscars hosting.

The late-night talk show host Kimmel has made his fans arguably excited with his Twitter post on his confirmation about upcoming Oscars hosting role, this could actually make more fans of the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
