"Ballers" Season 3 location has been from Florida and now will be filming in California, the reason behind was that the film commission expanded its tax incentive program last year in florida. With the issue that could be a case filed, the best solution for Dwyane Johnson and the team was to forfeit Florida as the original location and move to California to make sure everything is on point and right.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, other Tv shows like "Veep," "Scream Queens," "Mistresses," "Secret and Lies," "American Horror Story," and "American Crime" have all moved away from Florida. All of the shows shared the same reason as "Ballers" case, the film commission that expands the tax incentive program last year. "Baller" will set to film the remaining series in California since the disagreement.
On the other hand, Dwyane Johnson also teased fans on the upcoming season 3 of "Ballers" in a post in one of his social media accounts. According to GamenGuide, the "Fast and Furious" actor explained that the switch of location has been a blessing in disguise since it will give more business opportunity to the state plus will offer a lot more locals to work for the crew or extras respectively.
"Now on our film side, the impact of shooting my big budget movies in California would be huge with the jobs and profit we could generate for all the locals and crew. That would be more than amazing for them." he noted. Johnson also explained that people thought it was impossible to shoot a big film in the California but he disagreed and said it was possible to dream making the upcoming season of "Ballers."
"Ballers" Season 3 is expected to premiere next year on HBO. For more details about the current news and updates feel free to visit Jobs & Hire.
