"Dishonored 2" is finally here and with it comes to a new protagonist to start the mass murdering revenge all over again. This time, the player can choose the protagonist from the previous game Corvo, or as the new empress of Dunwall, Emily.

The sequel to one of the best assassin-based action-adventure games out there that are not Assassin's Creed, the game reintroduces previous mechanics of the game at the same time introducing new features such as a skill tree.

"Dishonored 2" also introduces new non-lethal combat moves and brings back the "chaos" system used in the previous game. The amount of chaos depends on killing characters based on their states namely: sympathetic, guilty, and murderous. Killing a sympathetic person will give players more "chaos" than killing the murderous person which will affect Corvo and Emily's dialogue as well as the world itself.

Another thing that is a welcome change according to Breitbart are the victims of your stealthy rampage. While the previous game made you murder people in a quest to avenge the murder of your lover and Emily's mother, the sequel's primary antagonists are faceless enemies and mechanical constructs. So if you felt a little bit of sympathy for the guards who lost their lives in the previous game, "Dishonored 2" is a welcome development.

The introduction of a new playable character also gives players a choice in how they can enjoy the game. While Corvo's abilities remain the same in the game, Emily gives players access to new abilities not seen in "Dishonored".

However, the game is not without flaws. The game features the same premise in order to justify going on another murderous rampage. However, despite the shallow plot, it is still a worthy sequel to its predecessor. If you enjoyed "Dishonored", there's a high chance you enjoy the "Dishonored 2."
