Nintendo Switch made its first ever TV debut last Wednesday night on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", with Jimmy Fallon himself having a firsthand experience of the marvels of Nintendo Switch. Reggie Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo America made a surprise appearance that is thought to be only to promote the new game for iOS, "Super Mario Run".

According to Cnet, Fils-Aime said that he was there to guide the fans and Jimmy Fallon to Mario's comeback in the iOS platform. Fallon excitedly tried the game, where the goal is getting to most coin as possible in each level, by tapping the screen which causes Mario to jump. The game is full of nostalgia where you roam the familiar world full of the classic pipes and goombas. Fils-Aime also announced that "Super Mario Run" will also be available for download as demo in any Apple Store on Thursday.

The late night show was also graced by no other than the creator of Mario himself, Shigeru Miyamoto as reported by Time. Miyamoto was seen casually sitting among the audience showing everyone his shirt and on it is Mario inside a samurai armor. Miyamoto also joined the The Late Show house band 'The Roots' in playing the iconic Super Mario Bros. Theme.

When it seems that all is over, Fils-Aime revealed what is under the Mario question mark cube, which at first is thought to be just a decoration. Under the box is the all new Nintendo Switch, all prepped and ready for a demo game. But that's not all, because they got to play the most anticipated game for switch, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".

The new Zelda game showed its latest feature, which is the massive open world and Fallon was given the chance to have a piece of action and slash away some enemies. After playing some minutes in the big screen, Fils-Aime showed us the amazing perk of Nintendo Switch, with some buttons tapped the game instantaneously transferred into the tablet docked into the main console. Without some lag or loading time, Fallon continued the game while on the tablet.

A less than five minute demo is more like a teaser than a proper demo. However, Nintendo revealed that more information will be announced come January 12 and the console will be released by the end of March 2017.
