‘The X-Files’ Season 11 News & Updates: Jaap Broker’s The Stupendous Yappi Will Have Tribute In New Season

It's a shame that Jaap Broeker is gone, he did not manage to return as The Stupendous Yappi in "The X-Files" reboot. The cast of "X-Files" Season 11 did not forget this amazing actor for they will be giving a tribute to him in "The X-Files" Season 11.
The Stupendous Yappi is one of the notable characters in "The X-Files" series. GameNGuide reported that he appeared into two episodes and manage to stand out against the two lead characters David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
"Jaap Broeker rose to fame was in the episode Clyde Brucknam's Final Repose, where he appeared in The X-Files episode as Duchovny's stand in. He reprised his role as Yappy in the episode Jose Chung's From Outer Space," they reported.
In January 19, 2015, Jaap Broeker passed away because of stroke. The site reported that there is a possibility that "The X-Files" Season 11 will pay tribute to this amazing character. To date, there has been no reports on how the cast will pay tribute to the late actor.
Variety reported that the much awaited return of the series was tweeted by David Duchovny on August. He tweeted Gillan Anderson a happy birthday and said "If you see Dana, tell her Fox says she might wanna polish up the ol' badge soon-ish."
Aside from The Stupendous Yappi, there are reports that Walter Skinner will be returning in the series. Skinner is the former boss of FBI agents Scully and Mulder and has been a vital character in the entire series.
Jobs & Hire previously reported that fans would discover a shocking truth about their former boss. The site also reported that the producers of the show are trying to create more episodes.
However, because of scheduling difficulties it is impossible for them to make more than eight episodes. "The X-Files" Season 11 is slated to return on 2018.
