Apple has released iOS 10.2 to the public today. Apple iOS 10.2 underwent seven beta tests before the public release. This update includes numerous major features and several bug fixes.

iOS 10.2 can be installed by connecting your device to iTunes or downloading it. To do it, go to Settings, then General, and finally, Software Update. The iOS 10.2 update is accessible for the following devices: iPhone 5, latest, iPad 4th generation, latest, and iPod touch 6th generation and latest.

iOS 10.2 Features New TV App such as Apple TV App

Apple launched a new TV app that runs recommendations for the latest movies and TV shows in the Watch Now section. This is also to discover new apps and new iTunes releases in the Apple Store. In addition, Up Next section permits you to see the movies and TV show that you are currently watching, which you can continue where you left it off.

 iOS 10.2 Features Single Sign-On For Cable TV

For cable TV subscriber, there is a new Single Sign-On feature that allows you to sign in with your identifications to view the content across various TV apps. According to MacRumors, this feature works great with DirecTV, CenturyLink Prism, Dish, GTA, Hawaiian Telcom, GVTC, Sling TV,  Hotwire, Service Electric and Metrocast.

iOS 10.2 Features New Wallpapers

In iOS 10.2, Apple further included three new wallpapers applicable for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. These wallpapers are dubbed as Droplet Red, Droplet Blue, and Droplet Yellow.

iOS 10.2 Features Videos App Widget

There is also a new widget for Videos has been added to the Lock Screen. The widget shows you the latest videos recorded and added to the Camera Roll.

iOS 10.2 Features Preserve Settings For Camera App

The new Preserve Settings feature has also been added to the Camera app in the iOS 10.2 update. This feature lets you set up the Camera app to open up with a certain setting by default. This feature can be set up by going to the Settings app, then go to Photos & Camera, and finally, Preserve Settings, says Forbes.

iOS 10.2 Features 100 New Emoji

Over 100 new emoji has been added to iOS 10.2. The latest emoji included in the update have male and female versions of professions like firefighters and judges. In addition, the art style of the emoji has been revised to appear more rounded.
