Niantic announced not so long ago that Pokemon GO will be partnering with Apple Watch. Recently rumors have been rife about the company cancelling the plan together but in a recent interview with the spokesperson of Niantic confirmed that Pokemon GO and Apple Watch will go on and will be happening soon as it is in progress as of the moment.

As Pokemon GO collaborates with the Apple Watch, it does not totally mean that the game wil run solely on the watch itself. According to iTech Post, the Apple Watch will serve as a guide to Pokemon trainers if there is a pokemon sighting nearby the area as well as information and details regarding the pokemon on sight.

According to 9to5Mac, another advantage of the Apple watch for Pokemon trainers is it give the right distance of how long you need to walk in order for the egg to hatch. Though the Apple Watch is just an accessory that gives trainers advantages, they still need to use a mobile phone in order to capture the Pokemon that is seen.

The Apple Watch will also allow the player of the game to collect different items at Pokestops, watch the duration of time and distance to when the egg will hatch, and view the medals they have earned throughout their journey as they progress in the game. Not only that, but the good thing here especially for health conscious players is it adds up the total amount of distance covered and the calories burned thoughout.

The original plan was that Pokemon GO in collaboration with Apple Watch was scheduled to debut this year however for some reason there were no reported updates about the partnership and progress of the plan. But with the recent confirmation coming from the spokesperson of Niantic, it is all set as Pokemon Go will be in collaboration with Apple Watch.

As of now, we will just have to wait about further announcements regarding the details and release date of the game heading to Apple Watch. For more details about the latest news and updates stay tuned to Jobs & Hire.
