Kliff Kingsbury scored popularity after being spotted as Ryan Gosling look-alike during televised ESPN game Thursday night, Business Insider reported Friday.

New Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury made his debut in a nationally televised ESPN game last night, and many were surprised not only for his insanely young age for a head coach at 34, but also for his gorgeous looks that channels Ryan Gosling.

Yahoo! reported that first-year Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury has just returned to the school he quarterbacked and had drawn a lot of attention after replacing Tommy Tuberville in Lubbock.

Reports stated that the young head coach had played quarterback for Texas Tech in the early 2000s before he decided to move into coaching.

Kingsbury was reportedly the offensive architect behind Johnny Manziel's 2012 season at Texas A&M, and he returned to Lubbock this summer to take the head job for the Red Raiders.

USA Today even took a closer look at the promising head coach, and was quite surprised of the resemblance he has with the Hollywood actor.

Many said that Kliff Kingsbury's popularity is only going to skyrocket after Red Raiders beat TCU on a 3-0 game Thursday night, and since Kingsbury is expected to lead the team in the next four games against Texas State, at Kansas, Iowa State, and at West Virginia.

Business Insider noted that Ryan Gosling comparisons have been flying around on Twitter the entire game.

Some claimed that he Kliff Kingsbury is the twin brother of Ryan Gosling, who got separated at birth. Other even exclaimed that they will now be paying more attention to Texas Tech games because of the gorgeous head coach.

Nevertheless, there were also some who denounced the claim and said that Ryan Gosling is Ryan Gosling; no look-alikes can replace the actor or his good looks.

Meanwhile, just this morning USA Today's Mike Foss did a remarkable breakdown of how the two gorgeous guys really look alike.
