Everyone gets through those moments of feeling helpless, stressed out and pressured. This comes from a number of factors including high expectations from the people around us. Ryan Reynolds has a secret weapon that helps he overcome such instances-his wife, Blake Lively.

One of today's perfect couple of the entertainment industry is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The husband has been particularly proud of his wife and is very vocal about it. Most recently, the "Deadpool" actor shared how Blake Lively, is keeping him sane during the down moments of his career.

In an interview with Variety, Ryan Reynolds opened up about how he became anxious because of "Deadpool", even during the scriptwriting until the post-production and the launch of the film. One of his biggest stressors was the fear that he would disappoint fans, saying, "By the time we were in post, we'd been to Comic-Con, and people went crazy for it. The expectations were eating me alive."

But behind any man's success is a woman, as the saying goes. Ryan Reynolds is fortunate to have one in his life. "Blake helped me through that," Reynolds share. "I'm lucky to have her around just to keep me sane."

Ryan Reynolds is nominated in the Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy category in the upcoming Golden Globe Award. The 40-year-old actor last month received a new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in which he was accompanied by Blake and their two children, James, 2, and Ines, 3 months.

"I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me," Reynolds said in his speech, as reported by Insider.

"You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me - second only to this star," he joked. "You make everything better, absolutely everything in my life better. You've made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential."
