Traveling is one of the greatest luxuries in life. For college students who will soon be graduating, thinking of their future career is one of their major concerns. However, it is also good that you take a break, explore and have fun after graduation. The Telenor Group’s CEO said that it is ideal to travel the world first before starting a career.

According to CNBC, Telenor Group's President and Chief Executive Officer, Sigve Breeke revealed that if he could go back to his younger years, he would have traveled the world. Breeke’s strong advice to young individuals is to build a world of experience.

"Don't go into your career too early. Try different things. If you want to be a successful business person of today's global business, you need to know a little bit about a lot of things, rather than going very deep on one topic," said Breeke.

Breeke also pointed out the importance to travel abroad and work in a foreign country. Being able to learn different languages can give you a better cultural understanding. It is good to try a different experience. This matters a lot if you want to be part of today’s global business.

While you are in the university, it is normal that you are eager for what the future has for you. You are investing for your future career. You might be excited to jump off in the real world. But come to think of it, why not give yourself time to reflect and relax, travel abroad. Go to a new environment and experience new things. It will be beneficial for you, before pursuing your dreams.

Susana Hawkins, a design researcher at Lextant explains that millennials prioritize learning new experience. And their way of achieving it is through traveling, said Forbes.

Hawkins explained that "Given how easy it has always been for them to access things digitally, millennials see analog experiences as the preferred way to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.”

Meanwhile, Jobs & Hire reported that Uber’s CEO, Travis Kalanick was involved in a heated argument with an Uber driver. The fight was caught on video. After the video went public, Kalanick sent an apology note to all of his employees.
