It looks like President Donald Trump worked his magic on daughter Ivanka Trump's clothing line. It has not been long since several retailers decided to discontinue selling Ivanka's clothing line after sales reportedly lagged. However, it appears that Ivanka's fashion line made a comeback early in February.

Sales related to Ivanka's clothing line has increased significantly in early February, according to a report on SFGate. That was just after several retailers decided to stop offering Ivanka's products at their stores. Jobs & Hire previously reported that the United States president turned to Twitter to defend his daughter and rebuked Nordstrom, one of the retailers that decided to stop selling Ivanka's products.

Now, it appears that Ivanka's clothing line soared to No. 11 of Lyst's list of the most popular brands. That is a huge leap from the clothing line's previous ranking of No. 550. The biggest increase in sales happened on Feb. 9 at 219%. That was the day White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told everyone to buy Ivanka's clothing and jewelry line on "Fox & Friends."

PJ Media reported that other than Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and other department stores also decided to stop selling Ivanka's products. Many Ivanka Trump-branded products had been sold early in February, a trend that Lyst considered as unusual.

It could be Conway's promotion and Donald's rebuke of the department stores helped boost sales. Conway had been heavily criticized for promoting the line, with several lawmakers saying that she violated the code of ethics. Products that were sold in early February include dresses, coats, knitwear and tops, with heels being the bestsellers.

The news may be a happy one for Ivanka, but Lyst is not confident that the clothing line will sustain its huge sales. After early February, sales once again are lagging compared to other brands, although February and March sales appear to still be better than January.
