Huawei Launches New Ascent Mate2 4G Smartphone at 2014 CES

Huawei has released its big screen Huawei Ascent Mate2 4G smartphone at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G smartphone features a 6.1 inch screen, 1.6 GHz processor, and 4050 mAh[1] battery. The Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G 9.5mm slim smartphone contains a 5-megapixel camera. The company said in a press release that the smartphone provides nonstop power to view six downloaded movies or listen to 100 hours of music on a single charge.
Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G smartphone also features power saving technology to improve performance, and LTE Cat4 connectivity.
"With Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G, we are bringing the benefits and convenience of superfast connectivity to people everywhere," Executive Vice President, Colin Giles, of Huawei Consumer Business Group said in a press release. "Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G is power-packed for the mobile generation who want non-stop entertainment on the go, such as the ability to snap and download photo albums in seconds or use their smartphone as their mobile office."
Colin Giles had previoulsy resigned from Nokia in April 2013. Colin Giles joined Huawei Consumer Business Group as Executive Vice President in July 2013. Huawei Consumer Business Group, a global information and communication technology products and services company, provides a range of products including mobile broadband devices, home devices, handsets, and cloud services. Huawei Consumer Business Group has ranked third in global smartphone shipments in Q3 2013. Huawei's products and solutions have been deployed to over 140 countries.
The annual International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, on January 7 through January 10, showcases the business of consumer technologies with more than 3,200 exhibitors, including international manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology.
