A Bigfoot hunter has allegedly killed the mythical monster more than a year ago, and although he intentionally shot the beast to prove its existence, its cadaver was not given to him until recently.
Self-proclaimed Bigfoot hunter Rick Dyer firmly believes he has finally the biggest evidence to prove the existence of the behemoth that has made interesting appearances and sightings for many years now. It is no other than the cadaver of Bigfoot himself that he has managed to obtain after slaying the giant.
In Sept. 2012, Dyer released a documentary titled "Shooting Bigfoot" in an attempt to share that he has the perfect evidence to prove to the world that the once deemed mythical creature was actually real.
However, skeptics were not convinced of what Dyer had to say in his documentary.
Moreover, the self-described professional hunter was tested when several investors in the film fought in court to prevent Dyer retrieving the alleged body of Bigfoot.
Recently however, Dyer has finally won custody over the giant's corpse, according to UPI.
"I have been worried for so long. I have been put off for so long, and finally we went up to Washington (state) and we got the body," he said.
Now that the hunter is finally in possession of the monster's body, he is not wasting more time to showcase it to the world.
"Bigfoot is 100 percent real -- there's no question about that," Dyer said. "Every test that you can possibly imagine was performed on this body -- from DNA tests to 3D optical scans to body scans. It is the real deal. It's Bigfoot and Bigfoot's here, and I shot it and now I'm proving it to the world."
Dyer said he now plans to tour the body across the United States, Mexico, and Canada to show and prove to many people that Bigfoot is real and that he has indeed slain the monster.
"Bigfoot is not a tooth fairy -- Bigfoot is real," he said. "The most important thing to me is being vindicated, letting people know that I am the best Bigfoot tracker in the world and it's not just me saying it."
According to the Bigfoot hunter, he is charging a fee for opportunity to see the beast's body in the flesh.
