Golden Globe Best Supporting Actress Jennifer Lawrence in the film "American Hustle"

The 71st Annual Golden Globe Best Supporting actress was awarded to Jennifer Lawrence in the film American Hustle.

The 23-year-old Jennifer played the plain house wife of actor Christian Bale in the film American Hustle on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Sandra Bullock and Tom hanks handed the trophy to the shaky Jennifer while going up to the podium. "I don't know why I'm so scared. I'm sorry I'm shaking so much. Don't ever do this again", said Jennifer.

Jennifer, in her emotional speech, thanks her Director David O. Russell and expressed how thankful she is to have worked with him. "Thank you to the HFPA. This is so exciting. I'm thrilled that the film received so many nominations and that I get to share this with the rest of the cast."

Jennifer beat Julia Roberts in "August Osage Country, June Squibb in "Nebraska" at Sally Hawkins in "Blue Jasmine".

American Hustle was nominated for seven categories including Best Picture in the drama, musical or comedy. It led other film including "2 years Slavery", the brutal portrayal of Civil war slavery.

Jennifer came to the Golden Globe with his on/off boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, who hugs her after she was announced as Best Supporting Actress.

The Hunger Games actress is wearing a white gown, separated into three parts with black strips. She paired it with dark red lipstick and little accessories. 

This year's film is considered a good one for North American box office earning totalled to $10.9 billion, which clearly show that films and acting overcome the typical box office record.
