Hypnotist Scott Lewis fell to his death at Sydney balcony

Stage Hypnotist Scott Lewis fell to his death  in a balcony from an apartment at Sydney, Australia, Sunday.

Lewis was from Los Angeles but decided to travel to Sydney for the sho . He was performing with his team in the show "The Illusionist 2.0" which opens last Thursday.

It was Saturday morning that he failed to show up with his co-actors to the venue. His body was found 9:40 a.m lying on the fourth floor balcony of their building apartment.

 Police said that Lewis fell from his apartment on the 11th floor. The cause of his fall is yet to be founds if a result of an accident or foul play.

Mark Kornhauser, Lewis friend said he spoke to Lewis the day before he dies.

He said the hypnotist was worried for cutting his time to 20 minutes, but he had never thought he will commit suicide. He said Lewis was insecure like other performers, saying he is doing poorly but will not go off the balcony for that.

Sydney Opera decided to continue the show and dedicate it for Lewis. The rest of the six performers announced the death of the known hypnotist after their show.

 "Today is a very sad day for us. We lost a performer." as they announce the sad news to the crowd.

"The company is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Dr. Lewis," Tim Lawson, so-producer of "The Illusionist 2.0", said in a statement.

"The entire company has decided to continue the show in his honor, and send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends," he added.

Lewis is known for television performances at his record at Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is where his family and friends are planning a memorial for him.
