Toni Tennille Filed for Divorce, What Lies Behind When Love Won’t Keep Them Together?

The Captain & Tennille singing duo's divorce has put a question mark on whether everlasting love ever exists as Tennille filed for divorce from Dragon in Arizona on Jan.16.
It seems Dragon still didn't understand what was happening. "I don't know why she filed," Dragon told TMZ on Wednesday, Jan.22. "I gotta figure it out for myself first." He added.
Like Dragon, fans are questioning what lies behind the divorce. In 2010, Toni blogged that Dragon was diagnosed with a neurological symptom similar to Parkinson's which hindered him from playing keyboard. "Some days he does pretty well.... other days his playing is severely compromised," she wrote on the blog. There is rumor that the divorce might be related to health insurance coverage. If that was the case Dragon can benefit from the divorce.
It's hard to imagine Dragon with Parkinson since he was a true vegetarian since he was 26. It is quite surprising that Dragon made 'a religious commitment' to healthy and less-fat food, according to Captain & Tennille's website.
It's even harder to imagine their divorce as the couple had happily married in 1974 and lived quite life in northern Nevada since 1984. The Captain & Tennille had enjoyed free time hiking, skiing, mountain climbing and golf in Prescott, Arizona. Their marital life seems to be the great testimony from the one of the most successful duos in pop history that "Love Will Keep Us Together".
Yet life is unpredictable always!
"The ideal model for a 'rock-solid' married pair" now split after nearly 40 years of marriage as "almost all people naturally evolve over time, & sometimes hidden feelings start to be uncovered when one may read, just a little more into (the popularized, substitute heading appearing just below), stating, for instance: 'MUSIC HAS KEPT THEM TOGETHER,'" the The Captain & Tennille's website read.
