The Phoenix Suns are expected to make big moves in the offseason in hopes of continuously improving their title chances next season after having a relatively successful campaign this year.

The Suns, who came one-game short of advancing to the 2014 NBA Playoffs, will reportedly make a strong push to sign the best available free agent this summer, and it could be Miami Heat superstar LeBron James.

James, who is averaging 27.1 points to go along with 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists this season, could become a free agent this summer, especially if the Heat fail to win their third-straight title this season.

And if James opt out of the final year of his contract and test free agency, Suns general manager Ryan McDonough will reportedly be the first one to knock on James' door, the AZ Central reported.

Acquiring James is not the only option for the Suns moving forward as reports also suggested that the Suns are dreaming big - they are also interested in acquiring Kevin Love either via free agency in 2015 or via trade this summer or before next season's trade deadline.

"At the least, it is an inspiring sign of what the franchise envisions. James may be a Suns dream, but the franchise will never be able to open new doors without first having the boldness to knock. To that end, the Suns would not be done with signing James. The Suns become a lot more attractive to Kevin Love if James is around and if Love is on the trade market this summer," Paul Coro of AZ Central reported.

Kevin Love A Good Fit For The Suns, Says Dan Majerle

Former Suns player and current assistant coach Dan Majerle told Arizona Sports that the team should make a strong push to acquire Kevin Love as soon as possible.

Majerle said that Love, who averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds this season, is a good fit for the Suns because of the 25-year-old forward's determination to improve his craft.

"You've got to love players like that and the way he's developed up his game," Majerle said. "He's turned into a very good three-point shooter, has a high basketball I.Q., I think he's a great teammate. He would be a perfect fit for the Phoenix Suns."

Majerle is convinced that acquiring Love will push the Suns to the next level, similar to what happened when a struggling Suns squad acquired Charles Barkley in 1992 - the same year Phoenix earned a trip to the NBA Finals.
