Amazon will add more jobs

Amazon Inc. has announced that it will add 7,000 jobs in 13 states, and those jobs will belong into the warehouse and customer service divisions.

The company has announced that it will add 5,000 full-time jobs at its U.S. distribution centers. 

Distribution center jobs could be found in Phoenix; Middletown, Del.; Patterson, San Bernardino and Tracy, Calif.; Indianapolis and Jeffersonville, Ind.; Hebron, Ky.; Breinigsville, Pa.; Charleston and Spartanburg, S.C.; Chattanooga and Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Coppell, Haslet and San Antonio, Texas; and Chester, Va.

The world's most popular retailer has lost money in the past year, although it has increased revenues.  The company relies mostly on its order fulfilment strategy to bring revenues and to stand out.

Amazon said that the company expects Barack Obama's forthcoming visit soon. There is no specific schedule yet,  but it became clear that the president would deliver a speech on economy during his visit and the topic and brought the topic up again in his weekly Internet and radio address on Saturday.

The company has been also adding 2,000 jobs in the field of customer service, including full-time, part-time and temporary/seasonal. Jobs will be available in the areas of  Winchester, Ky.; Grand Forks, N.D.; Kennewick, Wash.; and Huntington, W.Va. Also, work-from-home positions will be available in Oregon, Washington and Arizona.
