Rizzoli & Isles Season 5 premiered tonight on TNT with another interesting pilot episode; however, it seems that lead star Angie Harmon, who plays on the titular characters of the hit series, has more interesting bits to share this week. The 41-year-old celeb revealed on Twitter what she'll do to be part of her favorite TV shows.
In a Twitter chat with Parade just this week, the Rizzoli & Isles actress was handed a number of questions from her fans, ranging from the best advice she got from her Law and Order cast mates before to the things that she still wants to do in her life.
Of course, there are also questions about her character Jane Rizzoli on her hit TNT series, and the actress is game enough to answer all of these questions with all of her heart.
When a fan asked Harmon, "What do you love most about jane rizzoli?" she quickly responded with: "I ❤️ most about Jane her integrity & her sense of humor. Season 5, she's exceptionally witty!"
Another tweeted her with: "At some point, would you ever consider hosting a talk show?!! (Based in NC!) you have the personality for it!" And Angie answered with: "Of course! But only 4 a bit, love acting 2much! @theviewtv has asked several times but my sched is always crazy!"
A Torraine Harmony then asked the actress: "If you could be in any kids or animated movie what would it be?" To which she responded quickly with: "ANY OF THEM! just saw Train your Dragon 2 & LOVED IT...AGAIN!! Might have bawled through some of it!"
The Rizzoli & Isles star was then flooded with numerous questions but what stood out the most was her answer to a query about her favorite TV shows.
"If you could be a guest star on any show, what show would you want it to be?" a fan wrote. Angie Harmon then replied to the query with: "True Detectives OR Penny Dreadful!! I'd kill or die for a chance to be in 1 of those!"
To be fair though, this shouldn't come as a surprise since Harmon also stars in a crime and mystery-driven series.
Speaking of her show, the brand-new season premiered with a bang tonight when a woman has murdered someone to steal her baby. Rizzoli and Isles won't let anyone get away with this, but somehow Rizzoli's so-far-secret pregnancy will take a toll on her.
Additionally, since actor Lee Thompson Young committed suicide at the age of 29, it was revealed recently how Jan Nash decided to write out Young's character and the difficulty he faced doing it.
"It was very daunting knowing what was before me and what I had to do," Nash said in an interview with TV Guide. "From the moment that I was approached about this show and started watching the episodes ... and [after] I met with Angie [Harmon] and Sasha [Alexander], I knew that doing it in a compelling and respectful way was the most important thing to them for the season."
Rizzoli & Isles Season 5 airs Tuesdays on TNT at 9/8c.
