Previously on Rookie Blue, the show fifth season premiered with a double episode. And after almost 10 months of being absent on primetime television, Rookie Blue picked up where season 4 left off. The first episode took place the night of the shooting at the station as two officers fought for their lives. Sam and Chloe faced medical drama involving surgeries, and while Sam got the surgery right away, Chloe's had been delayed when her estrange husband showed up, only to refuse to consent the removal of a clot in her system. Dov was somehow unpleased when he found out that Chloe is apparently married. This week, all the personal drama of our characters will be set aside in order for them to carry out a citywide mission. In tonight's show entitled "Heart Breakers, Money Makers," all of our 15 Division characters will go on a mission that is labeled as "Project Accountability." The main point is for them to retrieve all the proceeds of crime and seize all items purchased with illegally earned money. Andy and Nick will take on the mission head strong as they get assigned to penetrate an illegal gambling house that's supposed to be out of operation. After managing to arrest the homeowner, a confession that will send them into confusion will lead Andy to recruit Sam to get more info on what's really going on. But after a confession that seems too good to be true, Andy recruits Sam to help her get to the bottom of what's really going on."
