Concert Tour Dates Cancelled After Kings of Leon’s Drummer, Nathan Followill Sustained Broken Ribs in Accident

The Saratoga Springs concert of the known rock band Kings of Leon held last Sunday was cancelled. Reports said that this was due to an accident which resulted to the band's drummer, Nathan Followill, who sustained broken ribs injury.

Nathan Followill said that he was a "little banged up" after the accident but will be back better than ever.  The Kings of Leon drummer is given strict advices from the Chief of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Faiz Bhora at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital, to rest well for a rapid full recovery. Strict orders were given to avoid further complications thus a two-week break was forced.

The Kings of Leon drummer, Nathan Followill was treated for broken ribs following the Boston's accident, in which a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to abruptly stop.

Meanwhile, refunds were offered to concert ticket holders for the cancelled show in Saratoga Springs, New York.

After a few months on the road in Europe, Kings of Leon had only recently returned to the United States to continue touring in support of their latest album, Mechanical Bull. They are also due to head south in October with dates set in Mexico and Brazil.

The rock band Kings of Leon played Lollapalooza in Chicago last weekend and are set to join Kanye West in headlining the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia at the end of the month. They're also scheduled to play The Tonight Show on Tuesday, August 12th, though it's unclear how Nathan Followill's injuries will affect their touring schedule, which involves some 30 shows over the next two months.

The avid fans of the band are hopeful for the speedy recovery of the Kings of Leon's drummer, Nathan Followill, after he sustained some broken ribs in the accident. Rescheduled concert dates were yet to be announced.
