British Royal Family Latest News: The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Are Expecting Second Royal Baby

The British royal family had announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their second child. The Clarence House had confirmed the announcement for the second royal baby on Monday.

The British royal couple, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William was very thrilled to announce that they are expecting their second child. Kensington Palace said that the Queen and the members of both families were overjoyed with the news.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is expecting her second royal baby with husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. As per the royal officials, Kate was being treated for severe morning sickness. She was hospitalized before for hyperemesis gravid arum but was now treated behind palace walls, the same condition during her first pregnancy with Prince George, who was born in July 2013. The 32-year old Duchess of Cambridge may need extra hydration, medication and nutrients due to her current condition.

The second royal baby will become fourth in line to the throne, pushing Prince Harry further down the line of British succession, making him the fifth. The British royal family was very pleased and delighted by the good news. Kate Middleton is not so far twelve weeks pregnant according to the Palace officials.  

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton was not able to join Prince William on a prearranged engagement in Oxford today due to her condition. For the second time, the British royal family had been forced to announce a pregnancy before Kate passed the significant 12-week milestone.  

Stories had been circulating that the second royal baby might not too far off surface during the British royal family's trip abroad to New Zealand and Australia. British Prime Minister David Cameron had offered his congratulations to the couple today via the social media site, Twitter.

The pregnancy once again caused international excitement and will continue to do so however this forthcoming birth will lack statutory importance equally to Prince George's arrival.
