Keith Urban expressed his family's devastation over the sudden death of wife Nicole Kidman's father and his father-in-law. The loss had put the family in a deep state of grief causing the cancellation of the singer's scheduled US performance last weekend.
The Australian country music singer, Keith Urban spoke and expressed how shattered they are over the loss. His father-in-law, Dr. Antony Kidman unexpectedly died in Singapore on Friday. After the news of his death, Keith Urban posted on social media site, Twitter on the same day saying, "I'm so very sorry that I cannot perform this weekend. We are in a deep state of grief at the passing of Nic's Father."
The 46-year old singer-songwriter, Keith Urban and his family traveled back to his native Australia instead of his scheduled performance at the Washington State Fair on Saturday as per his Facebook statement.
Keith Urban's father-in-law and Nicole Kidman's father, Dr. Antony Kidman, who was a respected Sydney-based clinical psychologist, died from a seeming heart attack on Friday morning in a restaurant at The Tanglin Club, an exclusive Singapore country club.
Dr. Antony Kidman died at the age of 75. Following the sudden death of his father-in-law, Craig Marran, who is the husband of Nicole Kidman's sister Antonia, undergone the tough task of visiting a mortuary at Singapore General Hospital on Saturday morning and spoke with local authorities and funeral director from Singapore Casket. Dr. Kidman was in Singapore to visit his youngest daughter Antonia, Craig and his six grandchildren.
Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman jetted from Nashville, Tennessee to be with their grieving mother Janelle in Sydney. While, Nicole's sister, Antonia Kidman flew from Singapore. The Kidman siblings, Nicole and Antonia were devastated by the sudden loss.
Keith Urban also expressed his gratitude for the love, prayers and support they have received during their grief. Keith also vowed to be with his wife Nicole, who was reportedly in total shock and beyond devastated.
Nicole Kidman along with husband Keith Urban and their two daughters arrived in Sydney, Australia on Sunday. Keith went back to support his wife's bereaved family during the horrible time of their loss. The family was also seen arriving and leaving Janelle's Northern Beaches home, Nicole's mother family home in Sydney.
During the time of their great loss, Keith Urban and his family are in deep state of mourning and grieving for the unforeseen death of his father-in-law thus the cancellation of his upcoming US concert.
