World War 3 Feared; Ukraine Plans To Restore Nuclear Program After Pro-Russian Rocket Attack Killed 10 Civilians During Ongoing Ceasefire

World War 3 is being feared after ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine continues. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense minister announced that the country might restore its nuclear program after Russia continues to threaten the nation with nuclear weapons. And despite ongoing fragile ceasefire, pro-Russian rebels launched a rocket attack that has killed 10 civilians in eastern Ukraine.

A worldwide conflict is feared to occur when two superpower nations, Russia and Ukraine, continued to threaten each other with their respective nuclear warfare and programs. The international community dreaded another World War 3, and this time might be a lethal nuclear war.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey revealed on September 14 that he suggested that Ukraine will be taking a staid look to plan on restoring their own nuclear program if Russia continues to threaten their nation with its nuclear warfare. As per the report of Inquisitr, Heletey accentuated that a restoration of Ukraine's nuclear program will only take place if NATO member states do not provide weapons particularly member states such as the US and England. The restoration plan is apprehensively to trigger World War 3.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey was quoted saying, "I am drawing attention to Russia's threatening Ukraine with use of tactical nuclear weapons. If we fail to defend Ukraine today, if the world does not help us, we will have to get back to the creation of such weapons, which will defend us from Russia."

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk also emphasized the part NATO nations must show if nuclear capabilities are to be avoided. He said according to BBC News reports that NATO is the only system that can protect Ukraine, apart from its own nuclear program restoration.

Officials have also stressed that NATO itself will not be sending disastrous assistance to non-NATO member Ukraine but its doors are open for individual NATO members to do so. And according to BBC News, Defense Minister Heletey said that the needed weapons are already on their way from anonymous, individual members.

With the likelihood for another global conflict, experts say that World War 3 might occur. Military and civil authorities in many nations seemed to accept and anticipate the planned nuclear war. Scenarios ranged from conventional warfare, to limited or total nuclear warfare leading to the destruction of civilization.

Meanwhile, another reason that sparked Ukraine's plans to restore is nuclear program that may possibly lead to a World War 3 is the pro-Russian rebels' rocket attack in eastern Ukraine on Wednesday.

The rocket attack that was launched by pro-Russian insurgents has killed 10 civilians and injured 12 others. The Ukrainian authorities said that it was the latest report of violence in spite of the ongoing fragile ceasefire in the nation.

Aside from the casualties and injured victims, the rocket attack also destroyed nine civilian buildings. The pro-Russian rebels fired Russian-made Grad rockets near the village of Nyzhnya Krynka, where Ukrainian forces are positioned, the military said. The village is near the rebel-held city of Donetsk.

On Tuesday, September 16, a woman was also reportedly killed on a bus during a battle in Donetsk, Ukraine. The crisis between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian rebels in the country has left over 3,000 people dead since mid-April, as stated by the United Nations.

As the Ukraine-Russia crisis continues, with the most recent pro-Russian rocket attack, a lethal nuclear war might arise that will lead to a disastrous World War 3 that will greatly affect global civilization.
