The ISIS jihadists strike again! A latest beheading video was released by the Islamic state militants showing the decapitation video of British captive Alan Henning. This is the fourth in a string of vile footages the terror group had orchestrated.
The latest video that was released on Friday reflected other beheading videos taken by ISIS, which now controls area along the border of Syria and Iraq. It ended with a militant intimidating a man they identified as Peter Kassig, an American Army veteran.
In Alan Henning's beheading video, it was entitled as "Another Message to America and Its Allies." The masked ISIS rebel forces the incarcerated victim to read a brief statement before the execution, comparable to the other videos. The captive was enforced to say he "will pay the price" for Britain's choice to join a US-led airstrikes crusade against ISIS in Iraq.
The victim, Alan Henning was a 47-year old who had joined an aid cavalcade and was held hostage on December 26, soon after crossing the border between Turkey and Syria. Meanwhile, the threatened captive, Peter Kassig is a 26-year old American Army veteran who served in Iraq. He was seized in Syria on Oct. 1, 2013, while working in that country as part of a relief organization he founded, Special Emergency Response and Assistance.
On Alan Henning's beheading video, the masked ISIS jihadist said, "Obama, you have started your aerial bombardment of Shams (Syria), which keeps on striking our people, so it is only right that we continue to strike the neck of your people."
While the authenticity of the beheading video was not instantaneously confirmed, the Alan Henning footage began with a news excerpt declaring British airstrikes against the Islamic State. The barbarity was carried out as continuous US-led coalition airstrikes rain down the extremists-controlled territories.
As per the Friday night-issued statement, US National Security Council spokesperson Caitlin Hayden confirmed that Peter Kassig was apprehended by ISIS insurgents. Hayden stated, "At this point we have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the video released earlier today (Friday). We will continue to use every tool at our disposal - military, diplomatic, law enforcement and intelligence - to try to bring Peter home to his family."
Britain has been assisting US military exertions against the ISIS terror group via its forces to aid with logistics and intelligence collection, besides taking part in airstrikes in Iraq. British Prime Minister David Cameron said that Alan Henning's ostensible murder simply showed the terrorists' repulsiveness and ferociousness.
Meanwhile, Lisa Monaco, US President Barack Obama's Counterterrorism adviser stated that the US had seen the latest beheading video and was conducting an assessment. President Obama later said that the US intensely deprecated Alan Henning's vicious beheading. He also added that the US along with Britain and other allies will work to bring the culprits of Henning's slaying to justice and will continue to take significant feat to vitiate and ultimately abolish ISIS.
French President Francois Hollande is also infuriated by the atrocious misconduct. He said that France will continue to provide support to the Iraqi officials and populaces in their combat against terrorism. He continued that these delinquencies will not be without punishment.
The UN Security Council also denounced Alan Henning's beheading video on Friday night. They stated that the video exemplifies ISIS inhumaneness, adding that its members believe that such unrelenting barbarousness acts executed by ISIS do not threaten them but reasonably strengthen their determination.
The latest beheading video is the fourth such released by the ISIS. The full beheadings are not publicized in the videos, but the British-accented, English-speaking jihadist grips a long knife and looks to start wounding his victims, comprising of American reporter James Foley, American-Israeli journalist Steven Sotloff, British aid worker David Haines and now Alan Henning.
The ISIS has its origins in al Qaeda's Iraqi affiliate but was ousted from the international terror linkage due to its ruthless strategies and repudiation to conform orders for its activities confinement in Iraq. It became even more dangerous and emerging tougher succinct of being able to blastoff a sudden bellicose attack across northern Iraq, steering security militaries and blasting down an Iraqi helicopter on Friday.
ISIS has become notorious for recording and releasing video footages of mass shootings, beheading adversaries and targeting religious and ethnic factions in the parts it assaults. Conventional Muslim officials have extensively condemned the ISIS extremists. Other foreigners are incarcerated by the terrorists. On Friday, British photojournalist John Cantlie's father appealed for his release saying he was a friend of Syria.
ISIS seems to appear fearless, inhumane and barbaric. And the latest beheading video of Alan Henning only showed their intrepid orchestrations of killing innocent lives and staging global terrorism perils as the US-led airstrikes continues.
