Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel Lawsuit: Couple Take British Magazine To Court For Defamation

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Lawsuit - The headline grabbing celebrity couple have filed two separate lawsuits against Heat magazine for allegedly publishing defamatory statements about them.

According to local sources, the complaints against the publication were filed in a Dublin High Court this past week.

The Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel lawsuit comes after the couple controversially graced headlines several times this past month. Earlier, there were rumors that they were set for a divorce after Timberlake was spotted getting cozy with one of his backup dancers Zenya Bashford. But a few days later, Jessica Biel was seen with a baby bump while visiting her hubby in Australia. This seemed to put rumors of their separation to rest.

Timberlake even celebrated the season premiere of Biel's New Girl last month on his Twitter account saying "@JessicaBiel: "'The Un-BIEL-ieva-BIEL Season Premiere' of @NewGirlonFOX is tonight! I'm so mad I didn't come up with that...!!!!"

The complaint, which is being described as the 'Jessica Biel lawsuit', is seen as an attempt by the couple to convince the world that there are no problems between them.  Many heads turned when Timberlake and Biel got married two years ago. The ability of the renowned ladies' man to walk down the aisle came as a surprise to many commentators.

If indeed it is true that the couple is expecting a baby, it will be their first child. Timberlake and Biel had broken up momentarily before they got engaged in 2011, and many commentators doubted their union will last.

The 'Jessica Biel lawsuit' is therefore seen as a way for the hot throb to prove his fidelity to his wife and the world. Meanwhile, the couple's lawyer Paul Tweed has revealed that the "We have issued defamation proceedings on behalf of our clients, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, in relation to an article and a headline in Heat magazine. We are suing in Ireland in relation to publication in all jurisdictions, as our clients are entitled to do." The German publisher of Heat magazine - Bauer Media Group - is yet to officially comment on the case.
