Blood Bath stayed true to its title and delivered a bloody episode with a few deaths, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Blood Bath" started with the wealthy widow Gloria Mott talking to her therapist about her spoiled son Dandy Mott. Viewers are treated with flashbacks of the young lad cutting a girl's hair, killing animals and hanging out with the gardener's son.
On another scene with the freaks, "Lobster Boy" Jimmy Darling and the rest of the gang are searching for Ma Petite, who died last week.
Upon returning to their place, bearded Ethel Darling and German expatriate Elsa Mars are waiting with a box that contains scraps of Ma Petite's clothes. Elsa sobbed and strongman Dell Toledo blamed the incident on an animal.
After that, a drunken Ethel brings Elsa something to eat and the bearded woman blames the German for the recent death. As a reaction, Elsa slaps Ethel in the cheek and the two starts fighting, Hollywood Life reported.
In the heat of the fight, Ethel reveals a gun and shots Elsa in her prosthetic legs. Flashbacks show the doctor who gave her the legs she is using. Elsa offered her former friend one last drink before quickly grabbing a knife and stabbing her in the eye, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The German expatriate covered her crime with the help of con-artist Stanley by staging a gruesome car suicide. The freaks gave Ethel a funeral with their own speeches. Jimmy says to her mother "You weren't nobody."
Back at the Mott household, Dandy is giving the psychiatrist false answers about the Rorschach test. Dandy makes a deal with his mother that he will continue to see the therapist if Gloria kills their housekeeper's daughter Regina Ross.
Meanwhile at the tent, Elsa clears her mind about the murder and concentrates on running the show. The freak show leader heads to Miami and recruits a new member named Barbara. Elsa prepares a feast and tells mourning Jimmy to take comfort in the new recruit.
At the Mott's household, Gloria calls the therapist and informs him not to come back. Dandy blames Gloria for his misery while the mother insists that she loves him. The spoiled son brings a gun to his head and Gloria pleads for him to stop.
Dandy replies with a simple "okay" and shoots his mother in the forehead. Finally, the episode ended with Dandy immersing himself in a tub full of his mother's blood.
