Serial Killer Caught: Brazilian Serial Killer Who Loves To Strangle Blondes Confesses To Murdering 42 People

Serial Killer Caught - A man who was arrested after being caught stabbing a 64-year-old woman to death in Rio de Janeiro has confessed to being a serial killer.

Brazilian police reports indicate that the suspect Sailson Jose Das Gracas, who is said to be 26-years-old, admitted to having killed at least 42 people in 10 years. Gracas confessed to killing his first victim when he was only 17-years-old.

According to local sources, Gracas claims to have killed 38 women, 4 men and a two-year-old baby girl.

"I don't feel remorse. If I go to jail for 10,15,20 years, then as soon as I get out I'll do the same thing all over again,'' Das Gracas said.

Brazilian authorities are taking his claims seriously and a search for the bodies of his victim is underway. So far police have been able to locate the bodies of four people suspected to be Das Gracas's victims.

When asked by the press how he felt when he killed his first victim, he said he felt happy and liked it very much. Das Gracas said killing was like an addiction. He says he loved the adrenaline rush.

"The first woman I killed I strangled with my hands. I felt pleasure, I like it. I felt a very strong desire," he said.

Marcelo Machodo, Rio police chief, said Das Gracas derived sexual pleasure from strangling his victims and masturbated afterwards.

"On occasions, he killed his victims and masturbated on seeing them with their eyes open," Machodo said.

Das Gracas explained his urge for murder. "When I didn't do it I would get nervous, I'd pace up and down inside the house. And when I'd done it I'd become calmer. I do a victim, and I could stay two months without doing it, or three. I'd stay fine, I'd just be thinking of that one that I'd killed. Then I'd go out on the hunt."

Das Gracas, who has been arrested twice for theft in 2007, says he worked as a hitman, but also killed for fun. The serial killer caught said he preferred his victims to be white females and enjoyed strangling them. Adding that all male victims were people he was paid to kill.

"I would watch the victim, study her. I would wait a month sometimes a week, depending on the place. I would get to know where she lived, how her family were, if she passed by a the street, I would watch, have a look at her house, study her," the serial killer said.

Authorities say Das Gracas seems to be a psychopath and is enjoying being the center of attention. The killer has been transported to a maximum security jail in Rio de Jeneiro.
