While several celebrities flooded the social media with their Christmas fetes along with their respective families, Cyrus posted selfies instead.
Maria Shriver Kennedy's son, Patrick Schwarzenegger has been dating Hollywood's wild child Miley Cyrus for three months. However, The Daily Mail said that the 59-year-old mom still does not approve the relationship. Shriver reportedly has concerns about Cyrus' behavior and her influence to her 21-year-old model-actor son.
Reports claimed that the Maria Shriver Kennedy-Miley Cyrus tension has intensified though Cyrus is trying her best behavior around the journalist. She even tried to dress modestly for Patrick Schwarzenegger's family get-togethers.
Since Patrick Schwarzenegger celebrated Christmas Day with his mom Maria Shriver Kennedy, brother Christopher and sisters Katherine and Christina, Miley Cyrus was left alone. However, Radar Online reported the controversial couple reunited in Sun Valley, Idaho on Friday.
But Patrick Schwarzenegger's ski trip at his father's [Arnold Schwarzenegger] Sun Valley resort residence was interrupted to return in California just in time to spend the holidays with his mom in Los Angeles, while leaving girlfriend Miley Cyrus behind.
On Christmas morning, Patrick Schwarzenegger posted a photo on Instagram showing his mom and siblings on their matching green pajamas. In another report by The Daily Mail, Maria Shriver Kennedy has always prided herself on raising a united family and proof to that was her efforts to reunite her family despite the alleged rift with son Patrick over his relationship with Miley Cyrus.

Although Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus did not spent Christmas together, Patrick may have some X-rated holiday presents to unwrap. According to Hollywood Life, 22-year-old Cyrus bought loads of sex toys for his boyfriend.
"Miley bought a whole load of sex toys, including Sexcereal, a breakfast cereal that's supposed to boost your libido, nipple suckers and a boob luge - a life-size pair of breasts that you drink booze out of," a source said. "She even picked up some Foria oil for enhancing orgasms and sexual appetite."
