Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are officially engaged?! The couple reportedly got engaged on Christmas Day while on vacation in Hawaii. The engagement rumors started when Vergara and Manganiello where seen in Los Angeles while jewelry shopping earlier this month.
The newly-engaged couple, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello were vacationing in Hawaii for the latter's 38th birthday on Sunday. According to People, the "Magic Mike" actor has been planning to propose during their trip in Hawaii but was so nervous about popping the question.
"He wasn't 100 percent sure she would say yes," the source said.
Sofia Vergara started dating Joe Manganiello in June after her split from Nick Loeb in May. The Daily Mail reported the now-engaged couple first met at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. They have been dating for six months before Joe put a ring on Sofia's finger.
During the couple's romantic vacation in Hawaii this holidays, E! News reported that Sofia Vergara posted a photo on Instagram wishing her soon-to-be-husband a "Happy Birthday."

While on their Hawaiian holiday, Sofia Vergara was seen and photographed several times flaunting her new sparkler on her ring finger. Reports said the ring has a large rectangular-shaped center rock and was surrounded by smaller diamonds.
Meanwhile, Vergara's ex Nick Loeb also expressed his thoughts about his ex-flame's engagement news.
"They are much better suited for each other," Loeb said, as USA Today reported. "I have nothing but the highest regard for her!" And when asked by Us Weekly, Loeb has only great words for Sofia Vergara.
"She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved," Loeb told Us Weekly. "Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring."
Loeb was also asked by Hollywood Life about the engagement in which the Pickle Crunch and Onion Crunch founder responded that he hopes the couple will use Pickle Crunch on their wedding cake.
The upcoming wedding will be a first for Joe Manganiello, while for Sofia Vergara, it will be her second after getting hitched in the '90s. The newly-engaged actress is also a mother to 21-year-old Manolo.
