There are ten weeks more before Jovovich's gives birth to her second child. The actress can rest for a total of five months before the filming of "Resident Evil" begins. Jovovich has already planned out her diet scheme so she can perform the stunts well in her action film, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The 39-year-old celebrity revealed that junk food is not an option nowadays. Anything that comes in sealed packages especially from a drive thru is not welcome but she said that it will not be a problem since she loves to cook.

Previously, the sixth film of the "Resident Evil" franchise was announced for an earlier release but production was delayed due to Jovovich's second pregnancy. The actress announced the news in another Facebook post and said that she was excited to fly to Cape Town to start filming but she just found out that she and husband Paul W.S. The actress added that after discussing the odds with her husband they thought it would be best to wait until the baby is born to start the production. She even joked that killing zombies with an expanding belly is not a good idea.

Since Jovovich will be giving birth soon, the cast and crew will continue the shoot in Cape Town, South Africa. There are several locations for the sixth installment of the "Resident Evil" franchise.

The last film "Resident Evil: Retribution" in 2012 failed to gain rave reviews but it earned well in the box office sales. Most of the complaints came from hardcore "Resident Evil" gamers since the movie is adapted from an original video game. However, the movie franchise has gained loyal followers who are eagerly waiting for a sequel, Screen Rant reported.

"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will hit theatres on Sept. 2, 2016.
