Will Bruce Jenner Be Put Behind Bars For Felony Charge As Police Slams Paparazzi Chase Claim?

Bruce Jenner is currently making headlines after being involved in a fatally tragic car accident on Saturday, Feb. 7. The four-car accident has killed one woman while seven others were injured. According to TMZ, the crash occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California.

The car accident involving Bruce Jenner happened when the car he hit moved into oncoming traffic and was hit by another car. A female driver was killed at the scene of the crash. Though the 65-year-old Kardashian patriarch told the cops who responded on the site of the accident that he was being chased by five paparazzi, latest police reports said it did not appear that way.

On Saturday, The Telegraph reported Bruce Jenner was cruising through Malibu when his black Cadillac Escalade rear-ended a white Lexus, which struck the back of a black Toyota Prius. The driver of the Lexus was killed after the car spun into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a black Hummer. The victim was believed to be a female in her seventies.

Meanwhile, according to the investigating authorities, the paparazzi did not seem to be involved in the accident concerning Bruce Jenner. CNN revealed the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department said there is no evidence that Jenner was being pursued by celebrity photographers at the time of the crash.

"As of right now, there is no indication that Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash," Lt. John Lecrivain said. "There was a possibility that paparazzi was following him at the time of the crash, but that is a very regular occurrence, and (there is) no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash."

At the site of the accident, WJLA said Bruce Jenner cooperated with the police and passed a field sobriety test and voluntarily submitted a blood sample to determine whether he was intoxicated.

But because of the tragic accident, Bruce Jenner's phone records including texts messages could be subjected to investigation. As per Hollywood Life, Jenner was allegedly texting while driving when the fatal car crash happened. And if it will be proven true, a criminal defense lawyer said he could end up facing a felony charge for vehicular manslaughter that could out him in jail for six or more years.

Though Bruce Jenner walked away unscathed after the accident, it left one person dead while seven people were injured and were taken to the hospital.

Do you think the paparazzi are to blame in the accident or is it Bruce Jenner's fault?
