Kate Middleton Baby UPDATE: 5 Interesting Signs Hinting The Duchess Of Cambridge Is Pregnant With A Baby Girl

Ever since the news broke out that British royals Kate Middleton and Prince William are having their second child, tons of speculation spread about the gender of the baby. Now, as the Duchess of Cambridge's due date approaches, rumors about her having a girl intensified.

After a frenzy of speculation about Kate Middleton having a baby girl last month, the palace told E! News that the royal couple do not know the gender of the baby.

And since it's only a matter of time before the guessing games on the gender of Kate Middleton's second baby comes to an end, we're sharing 5 interesting signs hinting the duchess could be pregnant with a girl.

1. Feminine pink paint samples suggest a baby girl is on its way.

Three feminine pink paint sampled have been ordered by Kate Middleton. According to Cosmopolitan, the paints are to be tested on the walls of a room specifically on a nursery at Anmer Hall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's ten-bedroom country home on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

2. The paint colors are named after girls, likely hinting Kate Middleton's baby is a girl.

Another compelling sign that the second royal baby is likely a girl is the names of the paint. Daily Mail revealed that an Oxford interior design company Annie Sloan has recently supplied three decidedly feminine paint samples to Anmer Hall. The colors are understood to be "Henrietta," a beautiful rich complex pink with a hint of lilac; "Antoinette," a soft pale pink with a hint of brown' that is redolent of 'old-fashioned roses and the colour of old plaster; and "Emile," a warm soft aubergine colour with pink red undertones.

However, British-based gaming company Ladbrokes said the name of the royals' little princess could be Alice, Elizabeth, Charlotte and Alexandra. And if it's a boy, the name could be James, Arthur, Henry or Charles.

3. Kate Middleton went shopping for baby pink clothes.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge insisted on keeping the gender of their second baby a surprise, the Daily Mirror noted a sign that sparked the never-ending speculations that Kate is having a girl. The 33-year-old royal duchess was reportedly seen shopping for pink baby clothes in the girls' section of Amaia, a children's boutique, this week.

"She was looking at all the girls' clothing," the store's co-owner Segolene Tresca reportedly said, International Business Times UK quoted. "She was very interested."

4. Kate Middleton's sweets cravings are also hinting she is expecting a royal baby princess.

International Business Times UK recently claimed that the duchess believes she is expecting a girl because of her sugar cravings.

5. Royal watchers are speculating Kate Middleton may give birth to a baby girl based on her attire during her final public appearance.

On March 27, we previously reported the Duchess of Cambridge flaunted her baby bump for one last time in a bright pink Mulberry coat, which she wore during her New York visit, at the Stephen Lawrence Centre in London, England.

With all the speculations surrounding the gender of Kate Middleton's second baby, it's only a matter of time if these clues will prove us right. Meanwhile, the royal duchess is due to give birth in mid to end April, Us Weekly revealed.
