‘Hannibal’ Season 3 [LATEST SPOILERS UPDATE]: Who Will Survive NBC’s Highly-Anticipated Psychological-Thriller Series?

"Hannibal" Season 3 Latest Spoilers Update - It has been almost a year since the major cliffhanging season two finale of NBC's highly-anticipated psychological-thriller series premiered last May. Now, with just two months away from its third season premiere this June, the spoilers are getting more exciting!

As the countdown begins for "Hannibal' Season 3, more spine-tingling scenes of carnage will surely haunt our television screens this summer. But who will survive the gore-filled saga of Hannibal Lecter?

In season 2, "Hannibal" left one of the biggest cliffhangers when an epic showdown ensued, Movie Pilot noted. While Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) managed to escape with his psychiatrist Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) for Europe, the faceoff left FBI Director Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), Dr. Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) and Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl) almost dead.

As seen on "Hannibal" Season 3 teaser, only Will seems to be alive in the group. However, Dhavernas revealed that her character will be quite alive and stronger when the latest season begins. Fishburne has also revealed in several interviews that his character will definitely be returning in the third season.

With the scoops above, it seems that Abigail Hobbs is the only character that couldn't make it out of Hannibal's house alive. In the previous season, Hannibal slashed Abigail's neck on the way out the door as he made his escape for Europe, which is where season 3 is set to pick up the storyline.

As TVLine reported, the first seven episodes will focus on the European adventures of Hannibal Lecter and Dr. Maurier. While a big time jump is up for Will Graham to finish off the season.

Meanwhile, "Hannibal" Season 3 filming is coming to an end. As per Fashion & Style, De Laurentiis Co.'s April newsletter revealed that the final three episodes would be shot before the end of the month. The episodes will be directed by Guillermo Navarro and Michael Rymer.

Earlier this month, the aforementioned newsletter mistakenly included Guillermo del Toro as among the season finale directors, which sparked some confusion among Fannibals. However, De Laurentiis Co. clarified through Facebook and Twitter posts that they only made a mistake on including del Toro.

Despite the exclusion of del Toro, another Fashion & Style report said "Hannibal" Season 3 finale will be unforgettable.

"It may be hard to top last season's finale, but we can promise you a conclusion you won't soon forget!" the site quoted De Laurentiis Co.'s statement.
