Recently, Ben Affleck has been spotted going solo ever since he arrived from a post-split family vacation in the Bahamas with soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Garner. But what is wrong with the picture is Affleck's disheveled and exhausted face, a sign that he's not taking the divorce well.
Following the divorce announcement, Ben Affleck was spotted sporting a new tattoo on his lower back. According to ET Online, the new ink of the 42-year-old "Gone Girl" actor has led showbiz insiders to believe the separation has driven him to do some serious soul searching.
It is still unclear if Ben Affleck's alleged new tattoo is just temporary like for a movie role or something or if it's a stamp to signal a new phase in his life.
Daily Mail revealed his newly seen ink is just one of the many tattoos of the "Gigli" star. In fact, Affleck has a dolphin tattoo on his lower back while a barbed wire was inked across his right bicep, where he added a tree and skull and crossbones. He also has a cross adorned with flowers on his left shoulder.
The photo, in which Ben Affleck was seen with a new lower back tattoo, seems to suggest that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor is not coming to terms with the divorce as some people even speculate that the filmmaker is attempting a reconciliation with Jennifer Garner, whom he met on the set of "Daredevil" in 2003 and eventually became his wife for ten years.
In addition to Ben Affleck's tattoo, new details on his divorce saga have also emerged. Despite all the rumors of infidelity and other inappropriate behavior on Affleck's part, an insider told E! News that their lifestyle differences definitely helped hasten the split. Even though Affleck admitted to cheating, other vices including drinking and gambling were cited as the final straw in their marriage collapse.
Meanwhile, construction has been taking place at their home over the last couple months since Ben Affleck is moving forward with his plans to continue living on the family's property in Brentwood neighborhood in L.A. but in a different house. Together with Garner, they are also planning on entering mediation to ease the process of dividing their assets.
