Top 5 Least Stressful Jobs

Most people think of stress when they think of going to work. Although no job is completely stress free all the time, there are five jobs in particular that are a bit less stressful in comparison to many others. According to careercast.com's job rating report, these top the list for the least stressful careers:

1. Medical Record Technician

It is common belief that jobs related to the medical field are all stressful and high pressured because people's lives are in the hands of the employees in this field. Medical record technicians however have a little less to fret about. The job requires employees to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical files for reference in treatment, billing, and statistical surveys.

2. Jeweler

This job may get stressful depending on whether you are fixing someone's wedding ring or whether you are creating a ring just for regular sale. However, the main focus of this job lies in manufacturing and repairing jewelry. Since every ring is not a wedding ring, this job is very low on stressfulness.

3. Tailor

People in this field are responsible for designing clothing and professionally operating a sewing machine to reinforce, decorate, and create garments. Despite the high pressure of having to meet different people's needs in a fairly quick time span, this job still ranks as one of the least stressful jobs.

4. Audiologist

The responsibility of an audiologist is to diagnose and treat hearing impairments. Although it does require lots of attention to detail and knowledge of how hearing works, there are barely any physical demands to the job.

5. Dietitian

Dietitians are responsible for determining patients' dietary needs, creating structured menus, and showing patients and their families how to live healthier lives. Most dietitians work normal scheduled hours and have very low pressure in their job environments, as they are responsible for giving direction, rather than having to take it all the time.
