Louis Tomlinson is expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirt, following his breakup with Eleanor Calder. Despite this shocking news, Tomlinson and Cadler seem to rekindle their old flame.
"The news of the pregnancy has actually brought them closer together," a source exclusively told The Hollywood Life, "He's been reaching out to Eleanor more than ever before and reassuring her that he never wanted to hurt her."
The source added that the "Night Changes" singer felt he let Cadler, who was his girlfriend of nearly four years, down.
Tomlinson and the 23-year-old model already spoke. She admitted it was hard, and she's hurting. However, she wanted him to be happy.
Cadler, who is still in Los Angeles visiting her bestfriend, reportedly received 23 sunflowers, 23 white roses and a stuffed animal from Tomlinson on her birthday, along with a note wishing her the best, and that he was thinking of her.
Meanwhile, the father of Tomlinson expressed his intention of wanting to be involved in his future grandchild's life. Daily Mail has learned that he would like to make up for the time that he missed out from his son's life.
Contrary to the excitement of Jungwirt's father, her stepmother expressed her fears about this situation. She is worrying that One Direction's fans will take it on her stepdaughter.
The pair were introduced by mutual friends a couple of months ago, and they have been hanging out ever since. One instance, they were seen holding each other's hands at Snoop Dogg's album release party on May 12 in Los Angeles.
Tomlinson and the 23-year-old stylist are not in a relationship, but the "Ready To Run" singer will be a hands-on-dad when the baby arrives.
There are no statements yet if Tomlinson and Cadler are officially back together. However, 1D fans are certainly hoping that everything will work out for the best for the both of them.
