As Singer teased fans of the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," here are 5 juicy scoops we've learned so far about the superhero film.

1. Peters' character, Quicksilver, will have an even "bigger and better" appearance this time around, IGN revealed.

"This year we're working on something that's bigger and better, keeping the same elements that worked, then adding a few new ones," Peters told MTV News. "I'm really excited to see it all cut together, and I'm excited for people to see it, too. I think it's going to be a really fun sequence in what is going to be a massive X-Men movie. The scope of it — with the end of the world and Apocalypse coming — is going to be a very large, epic 'X-Men' film."

2. The movie incarnations of the characters, particularly of Psylocke and Apocalypse, will closely resemble the comic visuals, Yahoo! Movies noted.

3. "X-Men: Apocalypse" film is set 10 years after "X-Men: Days of Future Past." According to Ecumenical News, the team will be battling against their formidable enemy, Apocalypse, who threatens humanity's existence.

4. As part of the comic book tale, another important part of X-Men mythology will be introduced in "X-Men: Apocalypse." And it will be Shadow King, who is a telepath as powerful as Xavier and would go on to become a major recurring villain for the team some years later, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
