Are Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez dating again? The 22-year-old "Jealous" hitmaker recently admitted that he had bumped into his former ladylove and arranged a dinner after their chance meet-up. However, Jonas stressed that it wasn't a date or something romantic but was just an opportunity to reconnect with Gomez.
Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez had been dating on-and-off for two years until 2010. But despite their recent "reconnection," the "Chains" singer insisted that they have no plans of rekindling their romance, Daily Mail noted.
"We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice [California]," Jonas said during an interview with Capital FM. "We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other."
"I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love," he continued. "They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all had a great time. We connect in that sense. It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll leave it there!"
Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez, two former Disney co-stars who are allegedly dating again, have already crossed paths several times before. In fact, they have dated and broke up on at least two occasions. "The Heart Wants What It Wants" songstress, who just turned 23 on Jul. 22, had also appeared in the Jonas brothers' "Burnin' Up" music video.
Aside from Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, who recently ended his relationship with longtime girlfriend Olivia Culpo, was also asked about singer Tinashe. And though the 22-year-old singer-songwriter previously admitted that Jonas is hot, the latter isn't considering the idea of dating her, The Hamilton Spectator reported.
"She's dope. She's kinda like the homie. Does that make sense?" Jonas said, as Xposé quoted. "I don't know. Because we worked together and we're just friends, it feels like it's that. I wouldn't want to mess that up! I would want to be friends with her, I think."
Since Olivia Culpo and Tinashe are already out of Nick Jonas' dating table, will he finally consider rekindling the romance with Selena Gomez?
"There's also lots of other options in the world," he cheekily answered when asked if he will opt on dating Gomez.
For now, it is uncertain if Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez will be dating soon. Who knows, they might just shock the world and admit that they indeed rekindled their romance. But how about Justin Bieber? Well, that's another story to tell.
